The Bottom Line

Her Highness is a NYC based company that was made by women, for women. There is not a lot of information about the founders, their growing, extraction, or manufacturing process. The company does third party test their results for CBD and THC content, however, there are no batch numbers on their products.

There is a limited product line from Her Highness. They offer CBD tinctures, mints, topicals & beauty products, smokable products, and vape products. Although they have a decent range of products, there is typically only one or two products per category. In terms of price, for the most part, Her Highness is priced above average. Their CBD tinctures are $0.19 and $0.38 per mg of CBD. Comparable brands’ price is often between $0.05 to $0.10 per mg of CBD.

Pros: Cons:
  • Women owned company, designed for women
  • No phone number or address listed
  • No batch number or QR code
  • Little information about the company’s team members
  • No information about the growing, extraction, or manufacturing process on the website
  • No testing for contaminants
  • Higher than average prices

About the Company

Her Highness is a New York City based company. It was co-founded by two women, Laura Eisman and Allison Krongard, and their products were designed especially for women. They offer both THC and CBD products as well as cannabis accessories. There is little information about the founders of the company or any other members of the team. It is also unclear when the company was founded. To contact Her Highness, there is a message box on their website as well as email addresses. They do not provide a mailing address or phone number.

Their FAQ page has limited information. It answers questions concerning what CBD is and if it is psychoactive, but does not provide information about the company itself, their shipping and return policy, or their growing and manufacturing processes.

Her Highness does third party test their products and the lab results are linked to the product pages. We looked at the lab results for their Facial Oil which showed there was 265.14mg of CBD per bottle, which is 15.14mg more than listed. This gives a CBD variance of 6%, which is within the acceptable 10% variance. There was no detectable THC. This sample was not tested for contaminants.

Manufacturing Process

There is no information about the growing, CBD extraction, or manufacturing process on the Her Highness website. They state that they do not use parabens, sulfates, phthalates or aluminum in their products.

We reached out to customer service to ask about their manufacturing process. After about a week, we did not receive any response and reached out again. They indicated that their farms are located in Shelton, CT and they use organic, non-GMO hemp. However, their products are not USDA certified. They said that their manufacturing facilities are GMP certified and located in San Diego. They were unsure about the type of extraction process.

The products are third party tested for CBD and THC, however they do not have batch numbers on their products. The lab reports posted refer to the most recent batch they are currently selling.

Buying Experience

When shopping for products on the website, for the most part, the experience is pretty straightforward. Their products are not categorized by product type, which makes your shopping experience a bit less than ideal. Once you have added your products to the cart and put in your shipping address, shipping costs are calculated. In our case, shipping ranged from $10 to $15. Orders are shipped within three business days and should be received by five business days. They will refund or exchange unopened products within 14 days of purchase. Our products arrived in a brown, cardboard box which was discrete. Inside, the products were bubble wrapped.

We reached out to customer service via the messaging system on their contact page to ask them to send us any information about their growing, extraction, and manufacturing practices. After a week, we did not receive a response.
